Experience:
Mr. Efroymson serves in an “Of Counsel” position to the firm. Mr. Efroymson has an extensive, significant and diversified legal and management background with transactional emphasis that includes legal experience in-house and in private practice.

Mr. Efroymson has served as General Counsel and Secretary for a publicly-held high-technology firm and as Vice President, Legal of a private telecommunications company. Mr. Efroymson was employed by top-rated law firms in the Los Angeles area where he engaged in business transactional and business bankruptcy practice areas. In San Diego, he has served as a contract attorney to firms such as Baker & McKenzie.

In 1991, Mr. Efroymson opened his own practice in the La Jolla area where he provides legal services to start-up and emerging biomedical, internet and other companies. Mr. Efroymson created a niche by providing general counsel type services to clients who do have or need a full-time general counsel. His clients include companies based in California, other states and internationally.

The combination of working both with law firms and as an officer of significant business entities provides Mr. Efroymson with the capability to combine sound business judgment and perspective with legal expertise to seek and resolve problems from both inside and outside a company's operations.

Mr. Efroymson is a member of the California State Bar Business Section. Among his outside activities, Mr. Efroymson is the immediate Past President of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of San Diego (which services over 3000 alumni) where he continues to serve on its Board of Governors, and is a Board Member and Legal Counsel for the Visionaries auxiliary of Braille Institute.
